This week, we had the privilege of participating in an inspiring international
conference where scholars from around the world gathered to share their research on innovation and sustainability.
The event was held from September 24th to 26th, 2025 organized by
Southern Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) and its partners under the theme: “Harnessing Research and Innovation for Resilience and Sustainability in a Dynamic World.”
Our team — Dr Joseph Nzomoi, Sangwani Rebeccah Gondwe, and
Leonard Nkunzimana — represented us with excellence, presenting research on Farmers’ Risk Management Strategies (RMS) and Groundnut Yield in Rural Malawi.
This was a valuable opportunity to share our findings and contribute to the global dialogue on how smallholder farmers are adopting RMS as a tool for adaptation and mitigation. We extend our sincere thanks to SEKU, our partners, and the School of
Business and Economics International Conference team for hosting this impactful event and creating a platform where research can inspire real-world solutions.
